Every Maara o Rongo product is handmade in small batches on our whenua at Motunui, Taranaki. We pack each order by hand with the same care that goes into growing and making it.

Processing time

Orders are packed and sent within 2–3 working days. During busy times, such as markets, wānanga, or the lead-up to Christmas, this may take a little longer. We'll always let you know if there's a delay.

Shipping within Aotearoa

We send orders with [NZ Post / CourierPost], and every parcel is tracked.

Standard shipping: $10.50 per order

Free shipping on orders over $100

Rural delivery: an extra $5 applies to rural addresses, as charged by the courier.

Once your order is on its way, delivery usually takes:

North Island: 1-3 working days

South Island: 2–4 working days

Rural addresses: allow an extra [1–2] working days

You'll receive an email with your tracking number as soon as your parcel leaves us.

Local pickup

If you're local to Taranaki, you're welcome to choose free pickup from Onaero at checkout. We'll email you when your order is ready and arrange a time that suits.

International shipping

We currently ship within Aotearoa New Zealand only. If you're overseas and would love our products, please email us at [email protected] We'd love to hear from you.

Packaging

We keep our packaging as gentle on Papatūānuku as we can, using recyclable / compostable / reused materials wherever possible.

Delivery issues

Please check your address carefully at checkout.
We can't be responsible for parcels sent to an incorrect address, but we'll always do our best to help.

If your parcel hasn't arrived within the expected time, email us with your order number and we'll follow it up with the courier.

If your order arrives damaged, please see our Returns & Refunds policy. We'll make it right.
